Field of application
In accordance with the (Swiss) Data Protection Act (SR 235.1) and the (EU) General Data Protection Regulation, this data protection declaration is intended to inform the users of this website about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator [WEISS AG].
The operator of the website takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions.
However, the transfer of data over the internet may be subject to security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
Access data
The website operator or site provider collects data about accesses to the site and stores these as "server log files". The following data is recorded in this way:
- Visited websites
- Time at which access was made
- Amount of data transmitted in bytes
- Source/reference from which you came to the website
- Browser used
- Operating system used
- IP address used
The data collected is used only for statistical purposes and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to subsequently review the server log files if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
Cookies
This website makes use of cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Your browser accesses these files. By using cookies, the user-friendliness and security of this website are increased.
Most browsers offer the option to decline the use of cookies. Note: If you select this option, there is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions.
Treatment of personal data
The website operator collects, uses and passes on your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of data.
Personal data includes all information which serves to determine your identity and which can be traced back to you – for example your name, e-mail address and telephone number.
Order process
All data entered by the customer for the purposes of order processing is stored. This includes:
- Last name, first name

Any data that is essential for delivery or order processing will be passed on to third party service providers. As soon as the storage of your data is no longer necessary or legally required, it will be deleted.
Treatment of contact data
When you contact the website operator through the contact options offered, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and respond to your enquiry. Without your consent this data will not be passed on to third parties.
Treatment of comments and contributions
If you leave a comment on this website, your IP address will be saved. This is of use to the website operator for reasons of security – should your text violate the law, he/she would like to be able to trace your identity.
Google Analytics
This website uses the "Google Analytics" service, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) for the analysis of website usage by users. The service uses "cookies" – these are text files that are stored on your end device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
On this website IP anonymisation is used. Users' IP addresses are truncated within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This truncation eliminates the personal reference to your IP address. Within the framework of the order data agreement, which the website operators have reached with Google Inc., the latter uses the collected information to compile an analysis of website use and website activity and provides services associated with internet use.
You have the option to prevent the storage of cookies on your device by changing the relevant settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.
Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being transmitted to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. This link directs you to the corresponding plugin: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Alternatively, by clicking on this link, you prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you within this website. By clicking on the above link you will download an "opt-out cookie". For you to use this opt-out cookie, your browser must allow cookies to be saved. If you regularly delete your cookies, then you must re-click on the link each time you visit this website.
