For years, PCD has been an indispensable material in the high-performance machining of non-ferrous metals. When it comes to high quantities, short production times and tool life, PCD has absolutely proven itself. Today, there are many suppliers of PCD base plates with different grain sizes, mixed grain sizes and PCD layer thicknesses, which can be used in a targeted manner depending on the application. We attach great importance to the right choice of PCD grade. To this end, we work closely with the customer. Information is collected and the appropriate PCD grade is selected. We have over 20 different PCD grades available for this purpose. Time and time again, it has been shown that the right choice can lead to enormous improvements in tool life. Multiple improvements in tool life are not uncommon. The combination of the right manufacturing process (grinding, eroding or lasering) in particular offers enormous cost-saving potential. It is always our aim to achieve added value for our customers.
