Directive RoHS
Machining of lead-free brass and copper alloys
With a new EU drinking water directive, RoHS, the legislator only allows copper alloys to contain a maximum of 4% lead until 2021.
Many electrical component manufacturers have to face this challenge. This also means that the tool manufacturers have to face this issue in order to be able to offer appropriate solutions.
WEISS AG has been dealing with this topic for several years and has been able to successfully carry out a number of projects with our partners.
If you have any questions on this topic or are you looking for a suitable tool, please do not hesitate to contact us.
